Choose the right plan
Choose a plan based on how the merchant expects to use reviews, not only current review volume. Consider number of products, monthly order volume, media review needs, widget coverage, import requirements, moderation workload, and support expectations.
Review plan details on pricing. If the store is preparing a large import, launch, or custom workflow, confirm plan fit before enabling review collection.
Change plans
Plan changes should be confirmed by an authorized merchant admin. Depending on the store and billing setup, Shopify may ask the merchant to approve a new charge or updated subscription terms. Feature limits update according to the selected plan and billing cycle.
Before downgrading, review which features, limits, or support options may change. If the store relies on media reviews, imports, custom onboarding, or high-volume automation, make sure the new plan still supports the operating workflow.
Understand Shopify billing behavior
Shopify billing approvals happen through Shopify-controlled screens. Rava can explain plan behavior, but the merchant must approve charges from an authorized Shopify account. If a billing approval fails, check account permissions, payment method status, and whether another staff member needs to approve the change.
Keep billing decisions separate from moderation decisions. A plan change should not alter the meaning of published reviews or the authenticity standard used by the team.
Enterprise and support requests
