Terms and conditions

These terms govern access to Rava Reviews, including the public website, Shopify app, embedded admin, review widgets, APIs, review request flows, help content, support, and related services.

The service provider is Ravanix Technologies L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E..

By installing, accessing, or using Rava Reviews, you agree to these terms for the merchant business, organization, or store you represent.

Rava Reviews is a business tool for merchants. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and authorized to install apps, approve Shopify permissions, manage billing, configure review collection, and bind the merchant store to these terms.

You are responsible for account activity, staff access, Shopify permissions, store configuration, review request settings, email templates, incentives, imports, exports, widget placement, published review content, and compliance with laws that apply to your store and customers.

You must keep credentials secure and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access, compromised keys, incorrect data, or misuse of the service.

Rava Reviews is designed for Shopify merchants and depends on Shopify APIs, app permissions, billing flows, webhooks, theme surfaces, and platform rules. You must comply with Shopify’s applicable terms and requirements.

If the app has paid plans, app charges must be handled through Shopify App Pricing or the Shopify Billing API unless Shopify permits another method. The Free plan has no charge. Pro includes a 14-day free trial, then $9 USD billed every 30 days until you cancel or downgrade. There are no usage charges or charges outside Shopify. Plan upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, remaining trial days, usage limits, and taxes are governed by the selected plan and Shopify billing flow.

Rava Reviews may interoperate with third-party services that you enable or connect, such as Klaviyo or Google Shopping review feeds. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and you are responsible for your accounts, configuration, and compliance with the third party’s requirements. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, expressly stated in the app, or agreed in writing. We may change prices, limits, or features with notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated commercial terms.

You may use Rava Reviews only to collect, manage, display, and analyze genuine reviews and customer proof. You must not create, buy, sell, import, solicit, publish, or encourage fake, deceptive, misleading, manipulated, or undisclosed insider reviews.

If you offer discounts, rewards, loyalty points, gifts, or other incentives for reviews, you are responsible for ensuring the incentive is lawful, disclosed where required, and not conditioned on the review being positive, negative, five-star, or any specific sentiment.

If you mark reviews as verified, imported, incentivized, moderated, translated, AI-assisted, or otherwise categorized, your labels and settings must be truthful and not misleading. The Review authenticity policy gives additional operating rules.

Merchants own or control the review content they collect, import, approve, publish, feature, translate, export, or display through Rava Reviews. You grant Rava Reviews the rights needed to host, process, store, display, transmit, transform, translate, analyze, moderate, back up, and otherwise operate that content for the service.

You are responsible for obtaining permissions from reviewers and any people appearing in submitted photos, videos, names, likenesses, voices, or other media before publishing or reusing that content. You must remove content if you lose permission or if publication becomes unlawful.

Rava Reviews may remove, restrict, or refuse to process content that appears unlawful, abusive, infringing, unsafe, deceptive, privacy-invasive, technically harmful, or inconsistent with these terms or Shopify requirements.

Rava Reviews, including the app, website, widgets, code, designs, templates, documentation, trademarks, and all related intellectual property, belongs to the service provider or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Subject to these terms and any applicable plan, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Rava Reviews for the merchant store on which it is installed. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or make the service available to third parties outside your store operations except as these terms or Shopify rules allow.

If you send us feedback, feature requests, or suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without restriction or obligation to you, excluding any of your confidential store data.

You may not use Rava Reviews to send unlawful messages, spam customers, scrape data, collect sensitive information without permission, publish deceptive proof, manipulate ratings, infringe intellectual property, violate privacy rights, upload malicious files, interfere with the service, probe security controls, reverse engineer restricted code, or attempt unauthorized access.

You may not use the service to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without required transparency, safeguards, and lawful basis.

We may suspend, throttle, disable, delete, or restrict access when we reasonably believe use creates legal, security, platform, deliverability, privacy, infrastructure, or merchant trust risk.

Rava Reviews may offer AI-assisted moderation, reply drafting, scoring, summaries, qualification analysis, translations, and other automated features. These tools are provided to assist merchants, not to replace human review where legal, brand, or customer impact is significant.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated replies, summaries, translations, moderation outcomes, product claims, and customer-facing text before relying on or publishing them. Do not use AI output to misrepresent review authenticity, product performance, or reviewer experience.

Use of Rava Reviews is subject to the Privacy policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Addendum. You are responsible for providing legally required notices, obtaining required consents, honoring shopper privacy choices, and configuring review requests and widgets lawfully.

You must not submit sensitive personal data unless the service expressly supports it and you have a lawful basis. You must not upload secrets, payment card numbers, government identifiers, health data, or content you do not have permission to process.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, integrations, APIs, templates, widgets, or support for platform versions. We will try to provide notice for material changes where reasonable.

The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, Shopify outages, third-party providers, network issues, security events, previews, beta features, or factors outside our control.

The service is provided as-is and as-available to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free widgets, theme compatibility, deliverability, review volume, rating improvement, conversion lift, legal compliance for your store, or specific commercial results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rava Reviews is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, customer relationships, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the fees paid by the merchant for Rava Reviews during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if no fees were paid.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the service provider and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, fines, penalties, and reasonable costs arising from your store content, published reviews, review requests, incentives, imports, misuse of the service, violation of these terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent the claim was caused by our breach of these terms.

You may stop using Rava Reviews by uninstalling the Shopify app, cancelling the plan, or otherwise ending access through the available Shopify or app controls. Uninstalling may disable widgets, review requests, sync, and dashboard access.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, create security or legal risk, misuse Shopify data, or use the service in a way that threatens merchants, shoppers, reviewers, Shopify, vendors, or Rava Reviews.

After termination or uninstall, we may retain limited information as described in the Privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable consumer or mandatory law requires otherwise.

Courts located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless applicable law requires another forum.

These terms, together with the Privacy policy, Data Processing Addendum where applicable, Review authenticity policy, and plan terms shown in the app, form the entire agreement between you and the service provider for Rava Reviews and replace prior discussions about the same subject.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms stay in effect, and the provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice where required.

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or platform outages, or government action, except for payment obligations. You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws when using the service.

These terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship, and there are no third-party beneficiaries. Notices to us should be sent to the legal contact listed on this page; we may notify you through the app, the website, or the contact details associated with your store.

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated through the service.

If you do not agree to updated terms, you must stop using Rava Reviews and uninstall or cancel the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
